Daniel 10:12-13
Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia.
If you read the book of Daniel, you’ll see how he prayed for 21 days before his prayers were answered. And when that answer came, the messenger that was sent to him said that he had been dispatched with the answer when Daniel first began to pray but there was a BATTLE taking place in the heavenlies for 21 days that delayed his answer. So it’s not that Daniel’s prayers went unheard, it’s that there was a battle taking place in the spirit that he was unable to see.
I want to encourage someone that delay does not mean denial. Your prayers were heard the first time you began praying, but in order to receive answers, you’d have to keep on praying and understand that there is a battle taking place in the heavenlies where the enemy wants to prevent us from receiving what God has for us. So don’t ever give up on your prayers & don’t ever stop praying.
