You ever go to an Amusement Park and walk past those “Funhouse Mirrors” and notice how they would change your appearance and give you a distorted view of what you look like? Yeah, me too! But have you ever noticed that this is what many of us do, we allow the mirror of people to give us a distorted view of who we are and then we begin to allow what they say define us? Yeah, me too!
And many times it’s not the mirror of people but the mirror we look into. We’d look in the mirror and begin to stare at what we think are scares & imperfections which causes us to become insecure about ourselves.
But I just want to remind you to allow the mirror you look into every morning to transform your thinking by seeing yourself the way God sees you. Don’t allow what other people say about you, don’t even allow what you say about you to give you a distorted view of who you truly are in God.
You are loved
You are fearfully and wonderfully
You are worthy
You are valuable
You are a child of a King
